We plan, build and run the software behind your business.

TensorTen is a software consultancy in Brampton, Ontario. You work directly with the people who write the code — from the first plan through launch and the years after it.

What we do

Five things, and we say no to the rest. Every engagement starts with deciding what is actually worth building.

Decide what to build

Discovery, architecture and a plan you can put a price on. We also review systems you already have, and say plainly what to keep, fix or replace.

Build web platforms

Multi-tenant platforms, customer portals, online stores and the admin panels that run them — with the reporting and permissions a real business needs.

Put AI where it saves hours

Reading documents into structured data, grading written work, answering customers from your own material. Grounded in your content, checked before anything is saved.

OpenAIClaudeGemini

Take payments properly

Stripe checkout, subscriptions and payouts. Sales tax by province, shipping labels, and the refund and reconciliation paths people forget to plan for.

StripeInterac

Run it in production

Deployment that happens on a push, backups you have tested, and someone who answers when something breaks at month end.

How we work

Three ways to start

Each with a scope and a price agreed before it begins. No open-ended hourly work.

01

Discovery

A short paid engagement for projects that are still a conversation. We work through what you need, then hand over a plan.

  • Scope, sequence and a fixed price
  • Screens you can click through
  • Yours to keep, with or without us
02

Build

We design and build in short cycles. You see working software every week and can change direction while it is still cheap to do.

  • Weekly demo of what works
  • Your code, in your repository
  • Launch handled with you
03

Support

After launch, the part most people skip: fixes, small changes and the upgrades that keep a system from ageing badly.

  • Agreed monthly hours
  • Security and dependency updates
  • No lock-in: leave when you like

Working with us

Small on purpose.

There is no account manager between you and the work. The person who scopes your project is the person who writes the code, and the one who answers when something breaks on a Friday.

  • A few projects at a time, so yours gets attention
  • Questions answered in plain language, not ticket numbers
  • Everything we build is yours: code, accounts and access

Questions

The things people ask first

How much does a project cost?

It depends on what you need, which is why we price after a short Discovery rather than guessing. Once the scope is agreed you get a fixed price for the build, and it only changes if the scope does.

Who owns the code?

You do. It lives in your repository and your accounts from the first day, so you can take it elsewhere whenever you like.

Can you take over an existing project?

Yes. We start by reviewing what is there and tell you plainly what to keep, fix or replace, before any new work is priced.

I’m not technical. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We explain decisions in plain language and show you working software every week, so you never have to take progress on trust.

What happens after launch?

You can keep us on Support: agreed monthly hours for fixes, small changes and security updates. It is optional, and you can stop whenever you like.

Do you work with clients outside the GTA?

Yes. We are happy to meet in person around Brampton, and the work itself runs over video calls and shared tools, so distance is not a problem.

Based in Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area.

Close enough to sit down with you, set up to work with you wherever you are.

Plan your project

Not sure where to start?

Pick what fits. We’ll suggest a first step, and you can drop it straight into your message.
